Gonso Licenser Info
What is Gonso Licenser and Can I Still Edit My Avatars?
Gonso Licenser is an avatar protection system designed to help prevent avatar leaking.
When you purchase an avatar protected by Gonso, you receive a license key that unlocks your avatar.
This key is locked to you and only you.
You may notice that the FBX, menus, FX layers, and other core files are locked.
You will not have access to the FBX or other hidden parts, but you can still edit and add your own assets inside Unity as normal.
Other Important Info
What data is visible and to whom?
- We save your VRChat username, license key, and Discord ID.
- This information is visible only to the avatar creator and Gonso.
- Your license key is required to upload the avatar and locks to your account once used.
Does the system check for ripper store or VRM usage?
Yes. The system performs local checks for any malicious use on these sites.
If any use is detected, your license key will be locked/flagged and you will need to open a ticket in my server so we can resolve it.
Does the system contain a token logger, malware, or spying software?
No. Any claims saying otherwise are misinformation spread by leakers/rippers who get caught leaking.
The system only collects your Discord username, VRChat username, and license key.
Why would Gonso or I risk the community we’ve built by doing something malicious?
The goal is simply to protect creators and reduce leaking so we can continue making avatars safely.
This system exists to protect avatar creators and discourage illegal website usage.
Please support creators directly.
